SOLD OUT and NO LONGER STOCK
QwikBoost increases the cooling capacity (latent heat) of the refrigerant during the evaporation cycle, which immediately results in increased system performance. This is especially desirable considering the reduced capacity of many AC systems that have been retrofitted with refrigerant R-134a. QwikBoost circulates through the air conditioning system in a manner similar to the way the lubricant circulates. Once the additive is introduced into the system, it remains active for the life of the system and does not need to be replaced.
The Benefits Include:
Faster Cool-Down Rates
Reduced Compressor Wear
Increased Cooling Capacity
Overall Increase in A/C Performance
This low cost, performance-enhancing additive was discovered on accident during spacecraft heat rejection systems research that was funded by NASA and the United States Department of Defense. The discovery earned its commercial developer and manufacturer, Mainstream Engineering Corporation, the prestigious Tibbetts Award. QwikBoost debuted at the 1998 International Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Exposition, and is now commercially available for automotive air conditioning applications.
QwikBoost is ideal for new automobile ACs and for older systems that have been retrofitted to R-134a. QwikBoost will not provide performance gains on systems that still use R-12.
