New Low Cost Refrigerant Leak Detector
Leybold Inficon, the manufacturer of the D-TEK refrigerant leak
detector, introduces TEK-Mate, a new low cost leak detector
sensitive to all types of CFC, HCFC, and HFC refrigerants.
TEK-Mate features the unique heated diode electrochemical
sensor technology originally introduced with the D-TEK. The
heated diode sensor tip automatically adjusts to any refrigerant
and is thus equally sensitive to R12, R22, and R134a. Any
airborne refrigerant activates an audible alarm which changes
frequency with the strength of the signal. Sensitive to leaks
under any conditions. This leak detector meets and exceeds
all standards of the industry, including SAE J1627 for R12, R22
and R134a.
